BlackBerry (BBRY) just reported net loss for the second quarter nearly $1 billion. The revenue fell 45% from a year earlier. The loss was from unsold Z10 phone. BlackBerry plan to layoff 4,500 workers. The share shrink to $8 per share. The company had the revenue from selling the old model phone for 3.7 million in the quarter compare with Apple (AAPL) that sold iPhone 5s and 5c for 9 million in three days. Even T-Mobile (TMUS) decided to stop stocking BlackBerry smartphone in the store. Basically you can order BlackBerry phone online and it will ship directly to the customers instead of coming to store and pick it up. I think this is huge that BlackBerry will lost one of the provider to help on its sell. We just have to see that if BlackBerry goes private it will help out the company or not.
